the friendly vibes of the staff made me feel right at home. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach and everything else I wanted to explore. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and spacious, and the kitchen was fully stocked and available for use. I even had the opportunity to join the surf program they offered, and it was an lovely experience. I highly recommend this hostel for anyone visiting Tamarindo.

the dorms had A/C and a humidity control unit, making it comfortable to sleep. the common area with hammocks and a pool was perfect for relaxing and meeting other travelers. the kitchen was clean, organized, and well equipped, with basic spices and oil provided. the staff and owner were amazing, always friendly and helpful, and they even organized regular events like BBQs. The hostel had good internet and a quiet location, a bit outside the center. Cons: Almost perfect! 😊.

During my stay at Tamarindo Backpackers, I was impressed by the warm and cute atmosphere. The staff, including Carl, Syd, Adam, and Marco, were professional and helpful. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, with a great social hangout area, pool, and comfortable rooms. The kitchen was organized and had everything I needed. The staff also helped me to arrange activities such as surf classes and yoga. I felt at home and would highly recommend a stay at this hostel.

loved my stay at tamarindo backpackers! the vibe was super chill and i met awesome people from all over the world. the staff were so helpful, they even booked the best surf lesson for me. the pool was a lifesaver in the hot weather. will definitely come back!

The best in Tamarindo

During my Christmas stay, I loved the friendly and helpful staff who made me feel at home. They provided great recommendations for tours and surf spots. The location was perfect, partially away from the town, which allowed for privacy and peace. The hostel had a beautiful swimming pool and a lovely garden where monkeys were often seen. Free coffee and a well-equipped kitchen were also available.

The WiFi was not very reliable during my stay. Sometimes it was difficult to connect or the signal was weak.

The atmosphere at this hostel was absolutely amazing! The staff were so warm and friendly, making us feel like part of the family. We had the most comfortable private room and still got to enjoy the company of the awesome staff. The desk staff were super engaging and helpful, arranging special events and transport to excellent beaches. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach, market, and town. And the best part was being surrounded by beautiful wildlife, like monkeys, while relaxing in the swimming pool.

There weren't any negative aspects of our stay at this hostel. Everything from the atmosphere to the location was perfect.

The staff, including Charline, Felipe, Ada, Cynthia. They were pretty good too ensure that everything was working smoothly and that we had a great time. The communal spaces, like the music playing, barbeque area, and large community kitchen, made it easy to connect with others and make friends. The hostel also had A/C and humidity control in the dorms, a huge plus. the staff and facilities at this hostel made it a must-stay in this city.
